So my love for typography keeps on growing.  Below is a three colour screen print created for my portfolio.  Hopefully next week i'll begin to screen some more alphabets.

'Fun At The Fair'
Three colour screen-print

This last week has been an epic print marathon, all in a bid to create new images for my portfolio as part of the Children's Book Illustration MA show coming soon.  Above is an example of me trying to show I can draw people.  But not hands or feet.

So now that our work has been handed in I finally have a bit more time for posting.  Here is a page from my other book, 'Mr Wolf's Something Brand New Dinner Party.'  All the characters have been created through screen-printing and placed together digitally.  It also features hand lettering.  I hope the spewing juices don't appear too bloody to the outsider's eye.

As warned, another spread from my book.
And here's a page from 'Monsieur Oeuf Travels in Style,'  All produced using screen-print.  I have begun experimenting with fabric textures - more to follow....

Here is a sneaky peek at one of the two books I have on the go - this one features a travelling egg

I have been working on a mini series of 'build a bird' books.  Here is one of the endpapers.  All the parts feature within the book and form a collection of odd looking birds.

I have been cutting and sticking like mad to complete a concertina book titled 'How To Reconstitute Meat.'  The original copy is over 12ft long but here is a little photoshop edit of the first few pages of a bird's journey through many a mangling machine.

Introducing the many faces Monsieur Oeuf

Four colour screen-print
I have started work on a new book detailing the life of the one and only Monsieur Oeuf - the amazing daredevil traveller.  I have been working with textile patterns and layering all in a bid to try and create a faux retro feel.  I have also started working with a lot of ridiculous egg based puns.  Below is 'Egg and Soldiers.'
